If you want the edited highlights, then they are summarised in the explanation of my weight chart 😉
My diary from the 28th of May 2011 when I started my first serious attempt at losing the fat and getting fit.
The diary is split into six categories:
- Fitness
This section of the diary contains mostly repetitive recordings of weights and measurements, although I do start to detail what I was doing and going through. - Other
I had several attempts at losing weight where I lived previously, and these attempts are categorised in the diary as other. They contain entires from the end of my first serious attempt Fitness on the 27th May 2012 to when I moved to Ireland on the 1st of October 2015. This section contains more in the way of what I was experiencing, and what I was eating. - The week
I detail my experiences at Tsitika on the page, which contains some before and after photos, but also recorded my weight and diary entries for the week.
I lost 5 kilos in seven days 😅 - Ireland
I moved to Ireland on the 1st of October 2015, and the diary entries in this section are from that date until the 6th of October 2016 when I started my weight lose and fitness regime. The dramatic improvement in my health is described from the start. - So easy
Once I’d moved into my new house and become settled, I started losing weight and getting fit and healthy. It was easy and so not surprisingly I have categorised these diary entries under the heading “So easy”. The section contains quite a lot of detail about what I was doing and eating. It is illustrated with photos and videos and also has quite a lot of my critique on weight loss and fitness TV programs. - Effortless
During August 2020 my weight started to increase again; a lack of aerobic exercise the culprit, I stopped cycling as much. By the end of 2020 I was back to around 80 kilos, though there was no slide back into part time alcoholism or shovelling in the food, quite the reverse ! I started reducing my calorie intake unconsciously and effortlessly.
My weight came back down rapidly and to my lowest ever. From my heaviest to my lightest I lost 36 kilos, almost 30% of my initial body weight.
Not much wonder overweight people are tired and lethargic. Try walking around with a back pack weighting 36 kilos all day 😧
