July 2017

I planted about half a dozen at my sisters house in Liscannor during end of July, with the aim of they making a hedge screen for privacy. By this time they’d grown considerably. Eucalyptus do that The variety was Viminalis

There were only a few, and they were planted with a good helping of peat compost and blood, fish and bone fertiliser.
My sister said that she doubted they would survive when we spoke during the early part of 2018 after the cold winds had burnt off the leaves, and the Beast from the East cold snap had damaged the new spring growth; however they came back more strongly than most of mine, with thick bushy healthy growth. And they all survived 😮
