Eucalyptus Pulchella is a strikingly beautiful tree for the medium to large garden in Ireland.
The one in the photo below is growing a region of the USA that has a warmer climate than Ireland
Trees of StanfordThough Eucalyptus Pulchella is frost tolerant, and the fabulous specimen tree in the photo below is in West Clare, Ireland. It is around twenty years old and about 15m high. It has therefore survived the severe frosts of 2010.
The common name of Eucalyptus Pulchella is White Peppermint gum due to the strong aroma of peppermint given off when the leaves are crushed. These stately trees have sticking striped bark with browns, greys and creamy yellow to white colouring.
